


This contest is an engaging way to promote literacy skills in kindergarten … This is the 24th year NHPBS has hosted a story-writing contest, and more than 12,500 children have participated over the years. Children from all over central Missouri in kindergarten through 4th grade were invited to write and illustrate their own stories and submit them to KMOS! This contest was designed to promote the advancement of children’s reading skills through hands on, active learning.
